This hotel is brilliant, located between the main shopping drag 3 minute walk and the silk road 1 minute walk.
Hotel was clean, friendly staff and excellent restaurnat facilities, loads of good western food. The lobby bar was also great.
We stayed on the 14th floor and the room was enormous and so was the bathroom.
The silk road markets are a minute walk and behind the silk road markets are the wholesale markets where everything is ridiculously cheap. Shopping on the main drag is a 3 minute walk, when we found out that Hangzhou is the shoe capital of china we headed for the Hangzhou main department stores and took advantage of the bargains and also bought shoes further up the road at the Baixin shoe centre on the corner near the post office 3 levels of shoes. The cake shops are all over the place and have excellent chinese cakes.
The hotel and the location made our stay just brilliant, we highly recommend this hotel |
