The hotel is located on Victoria Street in what is known as the civic district. So called because it was the seat of the colonial government. Within the area one can find some historical architecture like the Raffles Hotel, the National Museum, the Arts Museum, CHIJMES, St Andrew's Cathedral, the Archbishop residence and several churches. Conveniently located 05 minutes from the City Hall MRT station.

Rooms look oriental with rosewood furniture and red carpets. They are medium in size with a writing desk. Double room is equip with 1 queen size bed and twin room has 2 single beds. All room has coffee/tea making facilities and wire broadband are available at a nominal charge.
restaurant:
The hotel has a cafe where daily breakfast is served. Located on the ground floor, the entrance is almost under the escalator. A very utilitarian cafe with simple decoration.
exterior:
The hotel has a new modern facade facing Victoria Street. In red granite and mirrored glass, the facade is distinctive on the street especially when the other buildings are of low rise.
lobby:
Reception lobby is on the second level of the hotel. The check in counter is immediately right from the escalator. Some sofa are available further in the walkway. There is also a little lounge facing the counter.
general:
A highly recommended hotel in the superior tourist category. Providing excellent value for money and a good location within walking distance to Raffles Shopping Centre, Bugis shopping centre and Marina area. sg 11/07
