Dongying is a prefecture-level city in Shandong province, People's Republic of China. Located around the mouth of the Yellow River, Dongying borders Binzhou to the west, Zibo to the southwest, and Weifang to the south. The city's 350-km coastline borders the Laizhou Bay and the Bohai Bay to the east and north respectively.
