Although the restaurants are a bit pricey, overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Very comfortable, and well-positioned relative to the Forbidden City and other places of interest, as well as public transportation.

Nice hotel, but overpriced restaurants and surcharge for internet. Beds were very hard. Very noisy in the hallway outside room at night, with the staff unwilling to do anything about it

A pretty nice hotel overall. I did not eat in the restaurants or use the business or fitness facilities, so I can't comment on them, but I can say that my standard room was large and comfortable.
The staff seemed reasonably friendly and helpful, but not as much as at some of the nicer hotels. Some of them were nice enough, but I also got the sense that some of the bellboys in particular did not have particularly helpful attitudes.
The bed was quite hard, although that wasn't a big problem for me, and I had trouble getting hot water.
Otherwise, a solid choice and a good value overall.

The stay at the Capital Hotel was quite enjoyable.
The hotel room was very nice and their staff keeps a clean and respectable hotel. I will recommend your assistance to friends.
Any questions that we had were always answered promptly with courteous attitude......a real plus for travelling...
They would have a 5 star rating in most cities......
