I am very happy with Sinohotel.com. The room was better than expected for a bargain price. The room even had a great view looking out over Chang'An Avenue. The location is excellent by Wangfujing and near the Forbidden Palace. Checkout cost was exactly as reserved at Sinohotel, but if you use a credit card be sure to ask to be charged in Chinese Yuan, otherwise you will pay about 3% extra for the "convenience" of Dynamic Currency Conversion making the charge using your home currency. I have used
SinoHotel.com in the past with great service and will use them again for my next trip to China.

Very conveniently located. Staff were generally helpful but one was not quite so friendly when my friend checked in later, although this was already mentioned to them when first checked in.
