Yalong Bay is quite away from the tourist spots. The buffet is excellent and the evening show is nice. The movies are an added bonus. The rooms are too basic, not three star quality. The staff have limited English skills, and seem to have a problem with each customers account. Everyone was complaining at the front desk. The charge for every little thing, map, city tax and their assistance desk is vacant alot for "breaks' and 'lunches." Very few taxi service the hotel and charge too much to foreigners. There is a free hotel bus, but it is very crowded and not convenient. Rental for bikes are the price of a car. The massage center is very noisy at night, keep your room away if you can. They do not have organized assistance for outside activities, like a true resort. People, especially foreigners are on your own..good luck. |
