Un charme fou. Un véritable enchantement même. Après avoir visité la résidence Qiao (cf.Epouses et Concubines), tout simplement l'impression d'y loger, dans le cadre magique et surrané de Pingyao...
Kang bed remarquable (2mx4m ?) entouré de briques noires qui servaient naguère au chauffage du lit, superbes cours intérieures... Seul bémol, comme partout en Chine, 1 minute après la fin du petit déj tout a disparu... Puis on a visiblement oublié le nettoyage de notre chambre ! On mettra ça sur le compte du simple oubli...

Very good hotel and staff excellent. Warning, we can't change traveller check or take money with VIsa card in Pingyao. good breakfast. Nice room on two floors with straight stairs.

I loved this hotel!!! The location, room and service were superb. One cannot do better than with this hotel. The Ming-style rooms were charming; the contemporary bathroom was perfect. Staff were so helpful and friendly.
