Water is the soul of Lijiang. The Brook and Bridge Inn is located right next to the clear Yuhe River and the famous southern gate bridge of Lijiang. The river runs along our lovely and peaceful courtyard, from where you can see its clear water calmly flowing by. Our courtyard is a great place to enjoy the year-round sunshine, read books, drink tea, use the Internet, feed the fish, and listen to the sound of the stream. Sometimes you can see local children come to the river to catch fish, which gives you a unique look into local customs.
The Brook and Bridge Inn opened in January 2008 and is conveniently located in the old town, only a five-minute walk from Square Street. Our inn is decorated in traditional Naxi style. The Brook and Bridge Inn is an ideal place for you to escape the hustle and bustle of the big cities and relax in a pleasant and homely atmosphere. We accept bookings from travel agencies and we can organise tours and book flight tickets for you. We are looking forward to seeing you in our Brook and Bridge Inn!

There are 12 spacious deluxe rooms, a leisure room, and a big kitchen. All the rooms are tastefully designed with traditional Chinese furniture. You can also use the wireless internet service and make calls to every Chinese city free. When you sit at the corridor on the second floor, you can see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. You can see and hear the clear river from almost every room.

The Brook and Bridge Inn was one of the accommodation highlights of our China tour in Oct-Nov 2009. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location on the Brook is excellent - very quiet, yet right in the Old Town. The staff is very helpful, even though the English is limited. This Inn is excellent value for money - we would stay there again without hesitation. |

Maggie and her husband run this small guesthouse. They create a very peaceful atmosphere, and the 2 ladies on site make it a very easy stay. The location os right next to the old town- one minute and you are in the thick of the old town. There is wireless internet in all rooms and in courtyard next to stream - lovely lit up with lanterns at night! There is good tea and coffee making facilities in shared lounge and internet area. If you stay more than 4 nights they provide free minibus back to airport - great value place! |

Very good place in quiet environment. Maggie was very friendly and helpful. We strongly recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in Lijiang. We will certainly come back to this hotel next year. |
