Guilin Jingguanminglou Holiday Hotel is a classical style hotel with tea and collection of antiques as its theme, it is located in the city center, adjacent to department store, the city government building and Guilin Bravo Hotel, only five meters to Ronghu Scenery Area.
The hotel was formerly the residence of Tang Jingsong, Taiwan grand coordinator of Qing Dynasty. It is decorated in a classical style, with archaic chinaware, famous calligraphy and painting, special tea set, rare root and stone, archaic furniture and stone carving, and so on. The hotel have served many guests, not only some cututral and business celebrites, but also families and travellers, most of them have a good impression of the hotel's convenient location, quiet and elegant environment, modest and human services, etc.

This hotel was totally charming and in the ideal location on the shores of Lake Ronghu. This is a much better location than staying on the river, which in Guilin is not as scenic, and there are beautiful walks around the lakes. The hotel is decorated exquisitely with many antiques in the best taste (obviously the owner is a connoisseur). The location is quiet, with a view through the trees of the lake during the day and of the fairy lights round the lake at night. Though there is only a tea room at the hotel, the hotel is only one block from the Guilin Bravo Hotel, which has an excellent restaurant. Staff are extremely friendly and there is a little courtyard garden to sit, if you have time. This was our nicest hotel in China and I would highly recommend it. |

My husband and I were very pleased with this hotel and will happily recommend it to our friends. The items that we have not rated are items that we did not need or use. |

Homely like a guest house with the comforts of an expensive hotel. I loved the rock garden inside the hotel and also if you want you can take a walk along the lake which is bang opposite the hotel. A little inconvenient if you are walking back to the hotel at night as it is a bit far from the main shopping areas. But if you like a quiet place where you can relax at your own pace, go for GJML. The staff is also very friendly and they even have free airport pickup and can arrange car tours from the hotel itself. |
