The hotel has 300 deluxe rooms and 10 luxury suites, all with mountain and lake views. The Asia Star has the following facilities: More than 300 tastefully furnished double or single bedrooms with in-suite bathrooms and standard or deluxe suites and rooms for the handicapped. All rooms have a view of ERHAI Lake and CHANGSHAN Mountain.
We also have non-smoking rooms, ladies-only rooms, in-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and minibus transportation.

This hotel was great value. Huge spacious room with views of the lake. Nice big bathroom with moderen toilet. Good location and within easy walking into the old town. Breakfast was just moderate - buffet style but not much choice but OK if you're not too hungry. No real fruit juice, just cordial or Pepsi. We would stay there again, though, as it ws so comfortable. |

The local is a bit far from the Ancient City of Dali. They have shuttle bus but only at 7pm onward every half hour. We tried to wait for the shuttle bus in the Ancient City of Dali but never came. Except for that, overall is value for money. |
