Autumn Garden Courtyard Hotel, at the center of Beijing, boasts its convenient transportation for it is only 5 minutes' walk to the Tian'anmen Square, the Dazhalan Culture Street and the street famous for its glaze workshops. Besides the royal fitment, classic furniture, ornaments of various Chinese traditional craftworks and a full set of articles and equipments in the guest rooms, it also provides a dining-room, a bar in the garden and a business center. In order to provide its guests with a good chance to better appreciate the different hutong styles at different city zones, our hotel would like to offer the special services as follows: the guests can live both in the south garden in the south end and the west garden in the west end during their stay in our hotel. And we will pick them up free of charge between our two gardens; A tour in the hutong. To facilitate the guests to better experience the traditional cultures of the Beijingers, we offer the following services: free to taste the Chinese dumplings; free to try on the Opera costumes and take photos; Chinese Mahjong lesson and Chinese calligraphy lesson.
The hotel will send a rickshaw to pick up the guests from the entrance of San Jing Lane.

The decorations in all the rooms of both gardens feature the classic court style. All the rooms are decked by the gold ornaments and the traditional color paintings of the renowned royal painter. The rooms are furnished by the hardwood carved furniture of the style of Ming Dynasty. We also exhibit the adornments representing the Chinese traditional culture, such as the Chinese calligraphy and paintings, the china, the bronze wares, the Dunhuang frescos, the embroidery, the paper-cut, the spun silk, the dough figures, the facial makeup of Beijing opera as well as the commodities used by the old Beijing citizens. We promise that the guests can appreciate to their heart's content the exquisiteness of the Chinese traditional culture while enjoying the living atmosphere of Chinese traditional royal court.

Far from the madding crowd yet minute from Tiananmen Square, this hotel is a gem. Small, private, we felt like family. The service was impeccable, friendly and courteous. We recommend the dumping making and calligraphy side attractions. We hope for many happy returns. |

A cross between a hotel and a B&B. Wonderful location, rooms and staff. There is a breakfast room and bar, but no real restaurant. Not a problem because there are many good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff could not be more accomadating. Rooms are clean, comfortable and charming. Bathrooms modern and well equiped. Sitting in the courtyard is a pleasure. English is spoken. Credit cards accepted. |
