The Friendship Hotel offers 1,900 standard rooms, suites, business suites, Chinese and Western style deluxe suites and apartments. All rooms are equipped with an IDD telephone, TV, CNN, air-conditioner, refrigerator, mini-bar and sound system.
There are 12 big and small meeting rooms. The two multi-purpose halls can hold 300 and 800 persons, respectively, with 5-language simultaneous translation facilities available for use. We undertake big banquets, ceremonies, tradeshow, performances and international conferences.

I am dissapointed with the hotel, I used the hotel 20 years ago, I can not see much changes in the 20 years -staff do not smile; they are inefficient; food lacks of variety and is very expensive; the hotel charges seperately (90RMB) for using the swimming pool -which is never heard of in other 4-5 star hotels.
I would not recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Beijing. |

I wish that to change bed sheets at least every two days. I needed face towels in the bathroom. Room needs self controlling air cooling and heating systems. It was cold and I couldn't turn the heat in the room. Needs elevators in every building. More English spoken stuff as well as cleaning crew needed. Bathroom needs 3 sets of towels such as hand towels, face towels, and bath towels. |
