Staff in the reception obviously did NOT like to be forced to speak English. Their attitude was consequently seemingly very close to resentment, their service was generally poor and very, very slow. The doorman was good.
The hotel is OK, the location is excellent. |

All leisure facilities are advertsied as a part of teh booking but they cost extra, Plus teh area is too noisy for a peaceful sleep in the night. |

This an excellent hotel in a great location. Short walk to the subway gets you anywhere in Beijing. The rooms were very large and very clean. The restaurant only serves breakfast and light lunches - no dinner service - but the food is excellent! Leisure facilities are very very nice. Excellent value for the money. I would highly recommend the HWA Hotel. Sinohotel is an excellent service! |
