Carpet was a bit old & stained, but the historic setting made up for that! A short cab ride from Tiananmen Sq, but hard to find at night- hidden down a narrow alleyway- make sure you have the name and address written in Chinese when headed there, as none of our drivers had heard of it. |

Carpet not very clean, but that's a detail. Ask for a room with window on the patio. The staff was very friendhsip. Ask for Wendy (her english name): speaks correct english and is always smiley and willing to help. Very nice atmosphere and quiet, in a small street close to local shops. We'll definitly come back :o) |
