Beijing Spring Garden Courtyard Hotel is a traditionally restored Si He Yuan (a compound of houses around a square courtyard), which is representative of pure ancient Chinese culture and style. The buildings are of the Qing Dynasty style (300 years ago), which were elevated in stature from the Yuan Dynasty beginnings of over 600 years ago.
The hotel is located in Xi Cheng District, Beijing. There are many site of interest nearby, for example, the Forbidden City, JingShan, Bei Hai, and Hou Hai. The hotel offers deluxe rooms that are well decorated. You can enjoy the beauty of Chinese culture and arts here. In addition to the clean, comfortable and convenient facilities, the hotel offers a unique cultural connotation. Each of the rooms introduces you, the honoured guest, to the life of different distinguished emperors in Chinese history and the dynasties that they lived in.
In the multifunction hall, there are approximately one hundred photos with English translations depicting Beijing (Peking) past. These include places of interest, culture, religion, and every day life in the city. There is also a staff member available to answer questions and explain the 800 years of Beijing history.
The hotel opened in 2006.

The decorations in all the rooms of both gardens feature the classic court style. All the rooms are decorated with gold ornaments and the traditional color paintings of a renowned royal painter. The rooms are furnished with the hardwood, carved furniture of the style of the Ming Dynasty. We also exhibit adornments representing Chinese traditional culture, such as Chinese calligraphy and paintings, ceramics, bronze wares, Dunhuang frescos, embroidery, paper-cuts, spun silk, dough figures, the facial makeup of Beijing opera, and the commodities used by old Beijing citizens. We promise that guests can enjoy to their heart’s content the exquisiteness of the Chinese traditional culture while enjoying the living atmosphere of Chinese traditional royal court.

The Room is rather small compare to other "normal" 4 star hotel in Beijing, the insulation is allmost not exist, so will be rather cold or inefficient heating in cold Beijing winter. it is quiet, but the staffs are not use to foreigner, overall I would recommend this hotel only if you want to experience the traditional courtyard style hotel |
