Yanxiang Hotel was established in 1979 and officially opened on 3rd Nov. 1980. In 1981, Yanxiang hotel was directly governed by Beijing Tourism Department. In 1986 it was award as a three-star travel and business hotel by the Beijing Tourism Department.
For more than 20 years, Yanxiang Hotel has provided a high standard of service. Thousands of guests have been to Yanxiang Hotel and it is our honor to have them stay with us.
There are six restaurants of different flavors in Yanxiang Hotel. Restaurants include Cantonese Food, Shan Dong Food, Si Chuan food, Beijing local food, Korean B.B.Q. and Subway. A café is located on the ground floor and is open 24 hours.
The hotel has ten individually appointed conference rooms. Two conference rooms can accommodate 100-300 people while another four can accommodate 40-80 people. The other four is for meetings of under 40 people.
The hotel opened in November 1980 and was renovated in January 2002.

I have stayed here for the past 2 years and over time it has become very busy with tours and conferences. Management are not very friendly towards any queries (foreign exch desk was closed inexplicably during peak hours) they tend to hide behind not speaking English. Reception staff are stiff and not very friendly when booking in or checking out. Large groups often take up more time so individual guests such as me are often ignored. Could do with more friendly manners, follow-up on problems so the guest feels like he is welcome. I like the location so will stay there again, but generally, the staff on doors, cleaning, housekeeping are very efficient and helpful. |
