This hotel is 300 meters from a subway stop, so you can get from Beijing Central Train Station with spending 30 minutes looking for an honest taxi driver. It's 20 minutes by cab from the CD Cafe and almost as close to Tienanmen Square. It's is surrounded by great local restaurants and original hutongs and lots of modern shops. The staff doesn't speak much English but assigned a bellboy who helped me for two hours with a cell phone problem.
There are 24-hour corner stores and restaurants nearby. I cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else again in Beijing. |
