Good hotel - second time we've stayed. The prices may be a little bit high for the value, and things aren't always working (Internet, etc). Staff is helpful to get you different places. Some minor problems with our key cards, but I'm sure they were just exclusive to our visit and not regular problems. |

the Far East Hotel in Beijing was terrific! We had a very warm
welcome from the friendly staff - who all had pretty good English and were
very helpful. The hotel facilities were generally basic but were still more
than adequate for tourists, and the restuarant made some of the best
cappucino we found in China! We had to urgently arrange plane tickets from
Harben to Xian and then to Guangzhou while we were there and the Hotel's
travel desk did a great job for us. If you're an ordinary tourist who wants
to see the sights around Beijing at low cost, then this is definitely the
place for you. We loved it and would certainly go back. |
