The Golden Dragon Hotel was the first 4-star hotel to open in Yunnan. It was established in 1998 and was decorated in 2006. It is located right in the heart of the business area, adjacent to the International Trade Center and International Airport and is short a distance from the surrounding major tourist attractions.
Since it opened for international travelers some ten years ago, this hotel has played host to 25 heads of state, including the premiers of Singapore and Thailand. As a result, it has managed to accumulate a wealth of experience and provides high quality services and accommodation.

As a four star hotel it give real value for money. The staff is friendly and service-oriented. The rooms are beautiful decorated, clean with a great beds and pillows.
We stayed many times in this hotel and sometimes in others, but this hotel on walking distance from the railway station is the first choice. The only negative point this time is why the breakfast was offering mostly 'Moslim-food' while as far as we could see no Moslim-guests did stay in the hotel at all. |
