The Great Dragon is one of Beijing's finest luxury business hotels. The hotel was constructed in 1985 under donation by Mr. Pao Yue-Kong, the famous industrialist in Hong Kong. As a quintessence of the cooperation between China and the patriotic Hong Kong businessman, the hotel has been the focus of world-wide attention at home and abroad. President Deng Xiaoping had even inscribed the name for the hotel and attended the business opening ceremony.
The Great Dragon Hotel is located in the center of CBD, Chaoyang District, and adjacent to the Pacific Center shopping complex. The hotel is also located near dozens of embassies and consulates. Transportation to and from the airport is convenient with only one traffic light in your way. In addition, it takes only 10-minutes by taxi from the hotel to Tiananmen Square and the Wangfujing Business Zone.
