I make my comments as a Canton Fair visitor. The worse about this hotel is the location. It took 60-80 minutes to get to the to/from the Fair. The hotel advertised that they have shuttle bus service during the Fair. In reality this turned to be one bus going to the Fair in the morning at 8:30, and one bus coming back at 18:00. So there is no flexibility. If their schedule does not match yours, you have to take a taxi which will cost you 30-35 €.
The area around the hotel is not that nice at all. there is absolutely nothing to see. The hotel has a lot of rooms, but it seemed that not that many people stayed at the hotel, there is kind of a dead feeling there. I had made a reservation for 5 nights, but moved to an other hotel after 2 nights. I am not recommending this hotel for a visitor of the Fair, unless you are a nice group of people who can enjoy your time together. |
