This is a very nice hotel for the price. The service was great and the staff was always very helpful. The location is south of the Temple of Heaven and is within walking distance (about 20min). But since it is in southern Beijing other things of interest were further away. There is a subway within a couple of blocks but make sure you have a good map. Our map didn't have some side streets so we were lost at first.. Another good or bad thing about being on the south side is, you are further away from Western style foods. Local shops are all Chinese so if you want Western your choice is limited to staying at the hotel. But if you like to try some local fare there is plenty to choose from here. |
