We thought this hotel was great value for the money at 408 yuan. It was very clean and retained its four star sheen despite its obvious age in some areas. The staff are helpful, if a bit precious compared to the staff in some of the courtyard hotels we stayed in. The only reservation was the hire of a hotel car which was quite expensive at 450 yuan for the day. More disturbing was that in the morning we were told that an additional site we wanted to visit couldn't be done because this was 'part of the western tour' (there is a tour company on site). I made it very clear that if we hired the car privately then we should be able to go where we liked within the time available. Other than this I would recommend it highly. |

Ideal location within walking distance of Bell & Drum towers, but set back off the busy main street. Everything you'd expect from a hotel of this standard, but we were told there was no swimming pool.
Situated directly opposite Xi'an's market which is worth a walk-through in the morning to see various 'delicacies' on sale...
Recommended. |
