The Jing Wei Hotel was a wonderful choice for our family with small children. We stayed in a family room, and the beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our three small children to sleep. The rooms were clean and the location wasn't bad. It was about a two block walk to the St. Sophia church and about six blocks to the Zhaolin Ice Sculpture park. It was also within walking distance of the walking street and the river, though by the end of our stay we were VERY tired from walking so much. Our children were really worn out from all the walking, but this wasn't necessarily a bad thing. For people who can walk faster, this would be a great location. The combination of the family room and the good price made this a great choice for our family. Our friends ate breakfast at the restaurant and they said it was pretty good too. |

Commenting on the hotels you aranged for us, we can say that we did enjoy
the Jing Wei Hotel in Harben - even if they had lost the reservation payment
details! They still made us very much at home and did everything they could
to make us welcome, despite having almost no English. We would certainly
stay there again as the hotel is ideally placed to get to the Ice Festival
and the centre of town. Breakfast was a bit of a shock - being slightly too
Chinese for Western tastes - but there was certainly plenty of it and the
hotel presented everything very well indeed. Excellent service all round. |
