This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from East Nanjing Road and about 10 minutes walk time from the Bund. It is easy walking distance from the metro, although there is currently a lot of construction along the road linking the them, and the (quite major) road is not very well lit at night. The area is relatively quiet, and the rooms were fine. I think this was pretty good value for money and I would go again. |

Shanghai is not the most friendly place in China anyways. This hotel will get you by with a minimum of hassel in the New York of China. But be prepared, your charming western smile won't get you too far here. |
