The Paradise Hill Hotel, Zhuhai is located in the most picturesque region of Zhuhai, with the Nantian Mountains in the background and a growing financial district nextdoor. Lovingly restored by a Portuguese architect, the 5-star hotel's bavarian cream facade, balconies and neo-classical columns resemble the style and elegance of 16th century European architecture.

Good stay. Friendly staff. Extended our check out time from 12:00 to 14:00 without any problem.
We called room service around 21:30 to order some dinner but they said every one was off so cannot get any thing. Maybe it was due to the Chinese New Year. If it was because of this then I have no complaint.
Only had problems for the cost of Breakfast. My friend went down to have breakfast and they said the cost was RMB 50 while the reception told us the cost was RMB30 per person. |

The location is good. But, it is necessary to improve security excluding the main building.
The quality of the bath towel is bad. A dry enough bath towel is not supplied.
And no free drinking water. |

Sino hotel got us half the published rate! So will definitely book this way next time. I think 5 years ago this was quite an impressive hotel, but sadly it's been allowed to get tatty. Nice big rooms and friendly staff, but they pool and gym are open to the public and are not very nice anymore. Middlle of the day the pool was quiet then the whole of china descended upon us around 5pm. So a room with a view can include the noise form the pool too! No drinks or food by the pool. No waiter service. Room service very limited. I would say more a 3 star hotel now. Still for US$50 you can't commplain! |
