Overall this hotel is fine. But our experience at check-in on 26 Dec 2006 was not pleasant. Understand the busy time around Christmas we booked this hotel 20 days in advance and requested a non-smoking room. We arrived the hotel at 1:10pm with 2 tired children. The check-in staff told us our room wouldn't be available till 2pm because it needed cleaning. There's no sit-down waiting area in the lobby unless you go to the cafe/bar and purchase drink. 30 minutes later I learned the cleaning had not started in our room and it's a smoking room though they understood we requested a non-smoking room. I reasoned with them and the same check-in staff found a non-smoking room. Interesting enough the room was available and given to us straight away. |

very comfortable, but windows in the suites only opened into the atrium so the air was not very good. english speaking staff were very polite, but their english was hopeless. too chinese, find a western brand that knows what 5 star really means. |
