Shanghai Railway Hotel was built in 1930. Its former name was "China Hotel". The hotel is located near the east Nanjing Road, within walking distance of the Bund, and only five minutes drive from Pudong New District.

Excellent location, just 2 blocks away from East Nanjing Road near People's Square. Room is big and clean, with free broadband internet. Only problem is weak airconditioning, and clogged bathtub drain. Lobby has a funny smell of incense or oldness. Staff speak very little English. |
