I can't recomment this hotel as when we checked out the lift was not working and the porter refused to help with our bags. When I asked the receptionist how I could get my bags down she just ignored me - didn't even answer. We had very heavy suitcases as we had come to China for one year to work and we had to carry them down from the 4th floor and it wasn't until someone shouted at the porter to help us that he finally did so. It could have been the manager who told him to help us. Before the porter had told us that there was no way he could find a taxi but his attitude changed when the guy told him off. Staying on Nanjing Lu is Central but it has it's disadvantages - noisy and every time you walk out you get hassled every three steps. |

Overall is excellent. great room and location. Staff came to change towel every day as needed. Though there is the internet cable line in the room, it is out of order. And, cannot use at the business center also. only 1 reception staff can speak english fluently, others are poor. All is not quite friendly and always keep talking in Chinese. |
