Overall very satisfactory. We did opt for a deluxe corner room and got a room with an exterior wall with only half a window. The other corner rooms had a full wall of window. The unique thing about the room was the existence of a computer. No need to go to the business center to access the net. For some reason our bathrobes were removed on our last day long before we checked out. A minor annoyance which was quickly fixed. |

We were mostly pleased with Jin Jiang Tower. Check-in was quick and efficient - two minutes compared with 15 minutes it took to check in at the Bangkok Shangri-La the week before. Our room was not really international 5-star quality - maybe a strong 4-star - but we had no complaints. Location is great for doing stuff in the French Concession. Our only disappointment at Jin Jiang Tower was that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel several hours after our arrival, the front desk said we weren't checked-in at the Jin Jiang Tower and sent away our desperately-needed bags! Because of the hotel's error, we didn't have our belongings with us until the middle of the next day. |

The Room was ok, but a bit old. Service was good, but at check-in they charged my credit card a few times(Got problems with my bank) and my CC was rejected. Most staff speak average to fluent english. |
