Sweet Garden Hostel is an attractive foreign guest house, providing an accommodation suitable for international backpackers. It treats the guests to an authentic feeling of the Hutong culture of old Beijing.
Walking into a Beijing Hutong is like a stroll through history and only in a Hutong can one experience the real Beijing lifestyle. Today, Beijing is a rapidly developing city, loosing much of its traditional face - not in the Hutong or in our hostel. Sweet Garden House preserves this history.
The Sweet Garden House is located in Beijing city center.The surrounding transportation is convenient and fast, providing hassle-free access to all of the famed scenic spots and places of intertest.

The Sweet Garden House has new, nice, tidy and clean facilities & equipment. There are, in total, 20 rooms for guests, including single rooms, double rooms, four and six-person dormitories.

Smelly bathrooms with plumbing issues, bathroom floors always wet. Otherwise it's pretty clean. Bring mosquito spray. The staff is very helpful. |

The hostel is excellent. It is a very clean, modern building on one of the Hutongs. The staff are friendly and helpful, and even have internet access, and beer for 3 Yuan a bottle to drink in their covered garden. |
