The hotel is recommended in Lonely planet, but I honestly think it's one of the worst places I have stayed.
The A/C didn't work very well which is quite an issue when it's 35 C.
The breakfast served in the lobby can by no means be recommended. You pay 25 Y for three slices of toast bread.
The tour service is manned with staff that speaks no englisk what so ever.
The corridors and rooms have a strange smell to them. |

The rooms are large and cleaner than the hotel corridors. However the service is not so good, and maybe because they have many guests, they don't pay much attention to your requests. There is a travel agency stand in the hotel but the tours they offer are only with chinese guides. We wanted a hotel near the station as we had to take an evening train the last day, but finally we think is a much better option to stay in the city center, near the Bell Tower. |
