Can't beat the location! Within crawling distance to several great (& famous) Beijing eateries, plus the Wangfujing Snack Street, and shopping! Price was right too, compared to the other hotels in the same area that are at least 2-5 times the cost. Easy access to all modes of transportation, Forbidden City is a mere 10 minute walk. Make sure you get the exact address correct when hiring a taxi because it's steps from the pedestrian section of the street, and it's hard for them to turn into the side street where the hotel is (Dong 4 Tiel). The room is average size by many international standard, but the bed is very comfortable. The complimentary (buffet) breakfast was average, but enough to keep us happy till lunch. I recommend this hotel highly for tourists who want the convenience; but if you're expecting more luxury or amenities (pool, spa, hi-tech), then you best go somewhere else. I would definitely stay there again. |
