upside:
- there is a starbucks inside the hotel
- the staff is used to foreigners and most of them are quite helpful and friendly
- location in the city center
downsides:
- the hotel is old thus everything incl. the rooms are relatively rundown already
- as in many chinese hotels the walls are thin like paper, you hear everything that goes on in the neighboring room - which at 2 o clock in the morning can become rather nerveracking
- the hotel is generally pretty busy and loud
- try ordering some western food per room service in english; you will be suprised...
resume:
- its a hotel for business travellers: dont expect to have a good time there; just finalize your business there and get back to hangzhou/shanghai as quickly as you can
- actually the 5 star rating on the sinohotel website is a joke; the yihe hotel considers itself to be 4 star |

Every thing in hotel is O.K. but i found my bottle of Civas missing one day left in the room. I found it very disturbing and unsafe. |
