The Zhao An is a 3-star hotel with a variety of rooms and modern facilities. Ideal for both business executives and travelers alike, even long staying guests as the hotel is also equipped with 2-story apartments.
It was a delight to see a modern building serviced with English speaking staffi. Rooms are available in a variety of configurations, with even a duplex suite. Although well maintained and clean the decoration of rooms was a bit too pink for my liking. A surprising number of facilities were on offer, outdoor swimming pool, sauna, bowling alley and function rooms - you wonder how it is only a 3 star hotel. Good value for the standard of service and facilities.
Located on the 7th floor, the Cafe Pavilion offers both Chinese and Western food. for breakfast, Lunch, dinner and light refreshments. Known best for its Shanghainese cuisine.
There are six meeting rooms, all supported by a comprehensive range of audio and visual equipment. In addition, mobile karaoke sets are available to liven up banquets and private function. Photocopying, typing, facsimile, translation and courier services are available in the lobby.

Conveniently located in the center of the city, 10-minutes walking to the railway station and 35-minutes by taxi to Hongqiao Airport. No more than 15-minutes driving to Nanjing Road or Huaihai Road, the most famous shopping areas in Shanghai.
A simple 10 minute metro ride is Peoples Square which puts you within reach of most attractions.

Good basic accommodation; excellent breakfast, full Western and Chinese. Great location. Not a room to spend a lot of time in, but just fine for a place to stay. No view. Bathroom newly renovated, first-class, no black gunk, nice quarter-circle glass shower compartment, all the hot water you could use. Highly recommend this hotel for its purpose. |

この値段にしては良いかったです。
私が行った時は日本語を話せるスタッフがいなかった為、英語か中国語が使えないと少し厳しいかも知れません。
地下鉄駅の真上にある為、地下鉄の利用方法がわかる方なら便利だと思います。
近くに小さなコンビにがありますが、目立たないところにある為、探さないと見つかりません。
そのコンビニの従業員の態度はかなり悪かったです。 |

I cannot comment on leisure nor business facilities as I did not use them when there, but will most likely stay in this hotel again if ever visiting Shanghai again. |
