The Zhejiang Xizi Hotel is located at the foot of the hill famous for the former Leifeng Pagoda offering one of the ten best views of the West Lake. Covering an aread of over 260,000 square meters, the hotel borders the lake on three sides and the ancient Jinci Temple to the south. There are also beautiful views of Southern Peak, Northern peak, Baochu Pagoda and the lake. Recently the hotel conducted a large-scale renovation of its courtyard adding green grass and trees in harmony with the pre-existing villas and buildings. Today Wang Village has become the ideal Shangri-La with its richly endowed environment.

A very nice hotel on the whole.
Excellent staff attitude: english widely spoken by reception staff who are willing to help.
Very nice location on the lake shore but far from the city center. It's perfect for some relax but slightly unconfortable for sight seeing.
Very big structure clearly set up for big meetings, wedding cerimonies etc.
Excellent, truly excellent breakfast buffet with both cinese and western foods with a lovely set up. Slightly expensive but definitely worth every penny.
We did not get a chance to try the restaurants as one was destined to wedding banquets and the only available one was a western restaurant and we were committed to local specialities.
ont the whole I found the hotel expensive when related to chinese standards but very confortable. |
