The egret, in Chinese classical poetry, is a symbol of fortune and beauty. So will the Egret Hotel bring enjoyment and luck to your sightseeing and business activities.

The Nanjing Egret Hotel is a 3-star international hotel located in one of the most attractive tourist sites in China - the Nanjing Qinghuai Scenic District. It connects north to the Qinghuai River and east to the Egret Park. The hotel is also at the end of the Fuzimiao (Temple of Confucius) restaurant street. It is an ideal place for business and leisure travelers to stay.

The Egret Hotel offers not only convenience and service as an international 3-star hotel, but also takes you back in mood to ancient times when the area was a thriving cultural and artistic center. You can enjoy the authentic architecture of the Ming and Qing dynasties in the blue brick walls and small tile roofs of the houses and listen to the sounds of the Qinhuai River, inspired by the scenery immortalized by so many scholars and writers of the past.
The Egret Hotel is situated 30-minutes to the Nanjing Lukou International Airport and railway station.
The hotel has 240 guest rooms and suites. All rooms are equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, private bathroom, international cable TV, mini-bar, IDD telephone and more.

Comment Items not scored I did not use. I had breakfast here one morning & would not again. The location is great. Explore the temple area & market beside the hotel, they are great. Staff were really helpful. The hotel is a little run down , but what it lacks in that area it makes up for in location & staff attitude Would stay there again

Comment Great location. Right by the Fuzi Miao. The staff does not really know English so that limits them to how much they can help you. They do offer a lot of facilities and restraunts though. Not a bad deal, especially for those who are pinching pennies. If money is not a matter, then the Mandarin Garden is a better choice.
