Since opening on February 6, 1983, the Guangzhou White Swan Hotel is most known for its elegant design and high quality service. The White Swan Hotel has received over 40 heads of state and government including the British Queen Elizabeth II, President Bush of the United States, and Chancellor Kohl of Germany.
The hotel was accepted as a member of "The Leading Hotels of the World" on July 1,1985 and appointed 5-stars by the Chinese Government in February 1990.
The White Swan Hotel topped "China's 50 best hotels" in 1996.

The Guangzhou White Swan Hotel is located on the historical Shamian Island, overlooking the famed Pearl River and facing the White Swan Lake. The White Swan Hotel remains an oasis of tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the city.
