Comment The New Dragon Hostel was not acceptable. I do not think it should have a 2 star rating. It was not clean, the staff was not helpful, and the bathroom was dirty and not modern. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. So, we do thank you for telling us that our original hotel was being renovated, but the New Dragon Hostel was not an acceptable alternative. Thank you for your help and excellent service. We will continue to use sinohotel.

Comment I stayed in this inexpensive hotel before twice in 2006 and 2007. Then I liked a convenient arrangement in city centre, simple conditions, but clean rooms. Very kind, friendly, well speaking English staff created a pleasant atmosphere having mixing with people, that apparently did this hotel so attractive for guests of the different countries. This time I am completely disappointed. I shall tell my story. I have arrived to Beijing late. In hotel I recieved a room on the fourth floor. A strong intolerable smell of the water drain, dirty floors both in a room, and in a bathroom. I have asked to replace a room. 3 rooms on the 4th floor, that had shown me, had the same lacks. Sewer taps are executed nonprofessionally, with infringement of all sanitary norms (not tight plums without siphons directly in a pipe..) Searches of a room have took long time... Room on a ground floor was same dirty, but less smelly. The manager has sent the cleaner - a boy of years 9-11. He has made some movements with a wet dirty mop and with a smile on his face has told, that all is ready. Time was more then 24:00. I was tired and wanted to sleep.. To spend a night in a dirty room and to take a shawer in bathroom with dead cockroaches and another's hair on the floor was unacceptable. I have demand a bucket of water and a rag. So, I had to clean the room myself. Unpleasant situation! I noted that next days hotel staff tried to do their best. When I discussed them on sanitary norms I saw that they do not even know word – desinfection. Therefore they never do it! It seems there were not any real cleaning for two yaers - from my last stay at this hotel ☹ I think that owner of this hotel was changed probably. Internet not for free anymore and moved basement, different establishment, dirty condition… I would never recommend this hotel anybody else.
I want to add a comment to this hotel feedbacks >>
