Before you apply to join the "Sinohotel's Affiliate Program", please make sure you have read the operating agreement. Only when you accept the terms and conditions of the Operating Agreement, will you then have the opportunity to fill out the online application form and submit it to us.

This Agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to an individual's or entity's participation in the "Sinohotel's Affiliate Program". As used in this Agreement, "we", "us", or "our" means Sinohotel, as the case may be, and "you" refers to the applicant. "Sinohotel.com Site" or "our site" means the site that has its primary home page identified by the URL ww.sinohotel.com, "Your site" means the site you will link to the Sinohtel.com Site (and which you will identify in your Program application).

1.1 "Banner Advertisements" refers to the banners (or images) you have agreed to add to your sites, those banners are permanent, created and offered by us, containing the URL which will lead visitors of your site to a page of the Sinohotel.com Site. The banners are only for your placement and you are not authorized to revise, change or modify any banner without our permission.

1.2 "Custom Search Engine" means the custom links you agreed to add to your site which enables the visitor of your site to search tailored results by using Sinohotel's data and search technology.

1.3 Customers: Refers to shopping visitors who shop travel deals such as hotels and/or travel packages on the Sinohotel.com Site using the Links from your Site.

1.4 "Order" refers to reservations or bookings which are completed by a visitor who accesses the Sinohotel.com Site from your site via one of the links you added as agreed upon (banner, text or custom links) during a single browser session with the purpose of shopping or booking hotels, travel packages or other travel offers listed on Sinohotl.com Site.

1.5 "Revenue" refers to each order (reservation or booking of our hotels, Travel Packages or other travel offers), and the total price actually paid by the customers.

1.6 "Text Links" refers to the hyperlinks you agreed to add to your sites, containing any "Keywords" such as "China hotels" or "Beijing 2008 Olympic tour packages" which will enable a visitor to access Sinohotel.com Site. We will create and provide you such text links.

1.7 "Valid orders" refers to orders made by customers directly accessed to the Sinohotel.com Site following the links on your site which are valid, without cancellation or no-show of reservation; we can then collect the revenues due from the orders from customers or business partners with no money charged back.

1.8 "Visitors" refers to individuals or entities that access Sinohotel.com site through Links from your Site.

2.1 Your obligations

2.1.1 Enrollment in Sinohotel's Affiliate Program.
To begin the enrollment process, you will submit a completed program application via the Sinohotel.com Site; we will evaluate your application and notify you of its acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application if we determine (in our sole discretion) that your site is unsuitable for the Program. Unsuitable sites include, but are not limited to, those that:

a) Exhibits content related to sexual materials and/or violence.
b) Maintains content which discriminates based upon race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
c) Exhibits content of illegal activities
d) Includes any URL containing the term "Sinohotel", -- for example, a URL such as "sinohotel**.com", "sinohotel**.net ", "sinohotel**.org" etc.

We do welcome you to reapply at any time if you have been previously rejected.

2.1.2 Adding links to our site

Once accepted, you will receive link codes provided by us, and you may choose from three types of advertising options: banners, text links and custom search engines. The link codes you may use only for linking or searching on the Sinohotel.com Site. However, comparison of prices or deals offered by other online hotel booking or travel companies are not permitted.

2.1.3 Maintaining your site
You will be solely responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of your site and for all materials that appear on your site.

2.1.4 Give us your full cooperation
As you are identified as a member of Sinohotel's Affiliate Program, you are prohibited from displaying any advertisement (banners, text or custom links) or information which is the same or similar or highly relevant to our business such as China hotels, China travels or Beijing 2008 Olympic tour packages on the same web page.

2.2 Sinohotel's Obligation

2.2.1. We shall offer you link codes, linking instructions or guidelines and other customer support during the term of this agreement.

2.2.2 We shall authorize you to gain access to our affiliate monitoring central site, where you may check your site traffic, sales and monthly reports at any time.

2.2.3 We shall give the same customer service and support to visitors from your site following advertisement links in accordance with our then-current standard terms and conditions and standard customer service policies and procedures applying generally to all users of Sinohotel.

2.2.4. We shall pay you commission monthly according to the sales report and rate as agreed.

You are eligible to earn commission for all valid orders during the term of this Agreement.

3.1. Commission rate: We will offer you 5% of the revenue as commission.

3.2. Payment:

3.2.1 .At the end of each month, we will collect all your sales accruing in this month and send you payment within forty-five (45) days. If the commission you accumulated in one month is less than 500RMB ( or 50USD ), we will hold it until the commission you accumulate meets or exceeds 500RMB(or 50USD)and pay you the following month.

3.2.2 . As the purchasing of Sinohotel Olympic Tour packages will be made on installment, the commission based will be also made on regular payment. Payment of the commission will be adhering to the item 3.2.1 mentioned above.          

This Agreement shall commence upon our acceptance of your Program Application and shall continue until terminated by either party. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party written notice of termination. Written notice can be in the form of mail, email or fax.

You are eligible to earn commission for the valid orders made by customers accessing our site following the links on your site during the term of the Agreement. However, you shall remove all the links (banners, links and custom links) following the termination of the Agreement. If you still maintain these links following termination of the Agreement, we will not be able to offer you commission for those orders made by customers from your sites.
