All in all, Kathy and I really enjoyed our stay. The only negative comment is about exchanging money. Of course language inability on our part contributed to the problem. The situation was on Wednesday May 2 we needed to exchange money to Yuen, but was told that the Bank of China was closed due to holiday. On Thursday morning we were desperate. One of the staff, a female, named Joanne, was extremely helpful. The front desk agreed to cash "a small amount" which helped get us back to the train station. There appeared to be other people visably upset with the lack of money. I'm not sure, but it would seem that since the hotel knew the banks would be closed for the holiday that extra Yuen would be needed. Other than that, the entire experience was excellent.
